As a Software Development Team Leader, you will oversee a team of people responsible for developing a platform to control baggage machines, check-in systems, boarding or security gates, and their integration with airport baggage handling systems. 

Your Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary management, as well as personnel deployment planning 
• Manage complex agile customer projects or larger software components and support their development and operation as an interface between your team and the customer 
• Component responsibility for our CUSS platform and improvement of our products through the development of new technologies and methods 
• Close collaboration with Project Management, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and System Administrators to implement our global projects 
• Designing working conditions, optimizing workflows, and defining uniform standards for project procedures 
• Individual development of your employees by identifying their strengths and weaknesses and supporting them with your experience and expertise 

Your Qualification

• Completion of a technical degree or an equivalent qualification 
• Experience in disciplinary management of staff and as a lead developer with Java or C++ 
• Expertise in hardware-related software development, software architectures, and agile development methods 
• Strong sense of adaptability and interpersonal skills, often acting as a mediator in different situations 
• Ability to inspire and motivate others to work towards common goals 
• Enjoy taking responsibility for team members and fostering both collaboration and individual development 
• Goal-oriented approach to tasks, maintaining priorities even in situations with multiple demands 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English (C1)
