To managed and ensure the delivery of our projects and operational service to our aviation customers (airlines and airports) we are looking for a driven Team Leader to join our #TeamMaternaIPS in North America.
Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for overseeing project and service performance in North America
- Leadership and reinforcement of our project and service managers and their responsibilities
- Planning and effective use and allocation of resources using tools established by the Program Management Office
- Establish and adherence to governance including process, policy and procedures as provided from headquarters project management office.
- Regular Projects and Service Reviews and oversight of the cost controlling based on pre-defined key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Working in a global matrix-organization with different stakeholders
- Provide a continuous process improvement oversight ensuing these improvements can be used on other projects
- Plan, implement and follow-up of trainings and development for the project, the service managers and the organization
- Extensive customer liaison
- Escalation point for project and service managers within the team
- Supports Sr. Leadership in all aspects of project and service for N. America
Your Qualification and Competence
- Business or engineering studies or comparable professional experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in international contracting projects and service operations as well as proven (remote) Leadership skills in global organizations
- Deep IT knowledge in Project and Service Management and knowledge of standards such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, SCRUM, IPMA
- Experience working with ERP systems, especially SAP S4/Hana
- Ability to work Structured and solution-oriented independently and in teams
- Competence in leading and motivating operations in a high demanding environment
- Good crises management skills to handle pressure from project challenges
- Willingness to travel and to cooperate in our exciting international customer projects onsite
- German Language a plus
