Due to the strong growth of Materna IPS in the Indian market, we continue to expand in this location after opening our office there in 2018. As part of this, our new high-tech office in Bangalore, India, was officially opened on April 22 and 23, 2023.
To get things off to a good start, the new office was ceremoniously opened with ribbon cutting from our management on the first day followed by traditional Indian inauguration on the second day. The first day was then concluded in the evening with a dance group and a motivational speaker. An outdoor team building session was also held on the same day, further strengthening team cohesion for Materna India President Shibu Mathews.
Materna IPS’s success story in the Indian market began in 2017 with the installation of 16 self-bag drop systems at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. In addition to expanding our customer base there, such as the airports in Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai our team in India has since grown to over thirty employees.
With our spatial expansion, we are now on the way to further growth in India to continue the positive development there in the future.
