For the first time in twenty years, a completely new airport has been opened in Sweden. The Scandinavian Mountain Airport is located on the border between Sweden and Norway. This region is one of the most popular winter sports destinations in Sweden and is home to four ski resorts which are all very close to the new airport. On 22 December 2019 it will be officially opened for the winter months to bring tourists to the nearby resorts.
When the airport opens, ski enthusiasts will be able to make use of 8 Materna Drop.Go kiosks. This is the first project Materna has carried out with IP Security, an important supplier in this region. So this is an significant step towards consolidating Materna IPS’s position as a self bag drop supplier in Scandinavia.
