Impressions of our recent event
Where does the aviation industry stand after almost two years since the COVID-19 outbreak and what technologies will determine the future of air travel? What impact has Big Data on the aviation sector? – Those where the leading questions of the 10th Aviation Forum that took place on 16 and 17 November in Hamburg this year. Representatives of airports and airlines as well as suppliers from all around the world came together to discuss the latest trends
in the industry and to find out more about current projects and solutions to cope with the current challenges. Top speakers from renowned companies shared their experiences with self-service and other technologies. Our guests also had the chance to network with each other and exchange their thoughts on the presentations at Tuesday’s evening event.
Thank you very much for hosting this year’s event and for the great professional organization that created an environment that made t possible to activate so many top-class participants despite the difficult circumstances.
As a pretty new member of the aviation world, I was deeply impressed by the Materna Aviation Forum. I particularly enjoyed talking so easily with many professionals, deepening important topics and getting back home full of excitement and willing to apply what I had learned during the 2-days conference.
Against the background of the Covid situation, I was particularly pleased to get to know my colleagues from Materna IPS in person and to talk to them without a screen. Networking, especially with other users of IT solutions, is best done in person. It is always interesting and inspiring to look beyond one’s own nose into other areas of the aviation industry.
