Secure Access and Lounge Access offer reliable, fast and convenient access to airport security areas for passengers and/or staff. Our solution combines fully automated and manual access checkpoints. For instance, when passengers pass from landside to airside, the software checks their boarding passes and verifies the information by comparing it with the airport’s operational database (AODB). The solution can read all kinds of paper and electronic boarding pass formats as well as passports, ID cards and vouchers. Our system also provides additional information about passenger flows, life usage data, statistics, peak times, the passenger’s location etc. For passenger convenience, the application also displays the gate walking time or any gate changes.

Pre-security
When passengers pass from landside to airside, our software checks their boarding passes and verifies the information by comparing it with, for instance, the airport’s operational data base (AODB), or the flight information display system (FIDS).
Self-boarding
Our self-boarding gates interact with airline-specific applications based on AEA standards. No adaptations to the airline boarding applications are required.
Lounge
To allow access to lounges, our solution checks boarding pass validity, the validity corresponding to frequent traveller databases (FQTV-DB) and flight times.
Self-boarding
Fast self-boarding is the key to significantly optimizing the boarding process. Our self-boarding gates interact with the airline boarding applications based on the AEA standard.
No adaptations to the airline boarding applications are required. They offer completely automated aircraft boarding. The boarding process is speeded up significantly using quick and secure gates. After successfully identifying the passenger, automatic doors give access to the aircraft. Passengers benefit from increased convenience and reduced waiting time while boarding. Airline and airport staff is then free to spend more time on passengers needing assistance.
Our self-boarding gate solution can easily be integrated in existing airport infrastructure and communicates with boarding applications based on AEA standards. As an option, the solution can also be equipped with a biometric identification system, such as face recognition. Our self-boarding gate is certified for CUTE and CUPPS environments.
