who we are and how we work
IPS a SITA company –
For more than three decades, we have been a leading player in the aviation industry, focusing on improving passenger handling for airports and airlines.
Our long-term experience in this sector helps us to make passenger handling more efficient. Our aim is to increase capacities, save costs and satisfy passengers even more. Many airports and airlines would like to optimize their passenger flow as part of expanding the capacities at existing terminals. We help our customers to better utilize existing resources. Our solutions for check-in, self bag drop and access systems have already been well-proven by renowned airlines and airports.
We are specialists in software and system integration and also act as general contractors for self-service systems. We work throughout the world with a main focus on Europe, North-America, the Middle East, India and Japan.
As pioneers of Common Use solutions based on IATA-standard we have developed platforms and applications for airports and airlines. In order to meet current and future requirements, we also integrate biometrics and payment technology into our systems.

Dr. Georg Oschmann
Managing Director
Dr. Georg Oschmann manages IPS a SITA company at its headquarters in Dortmund and is responsible for international business including all international subsidiaries worldwide and thus for a total of 180 employees. He joined IPS in 2017 and has driven forward the development of international business in the growth markets of India and Japan. Georg has an extensive background in technology and business administration.
Lieselotte Neste
Senior Vice President Technology
Lieselotte Neste has been responsible for many years on the technology side for the development and product management of IPS. Today she heads the Technology division with the departments Development, Project Management, Product Management and Service Engineering. Lieselotte has an extremely extensive know-how in the aviation industry and is strongly driving the development of new technologies such as biometrics and payment for IPS’s self-service product.
